Innovator Industrial Services has been dedicated to improving the safety and cost-effectiveness of the Canadian industrial and oil & gas sectors for over ten years.  As a quality focused company, we are seeking to engage a full time Quality Management Coordinator to enhance and further develop our team. The successful candidate will have both highly technical skills and be a right fit with the culture and values of our company. The ideal individual will be results focused, willing to grow, and find ways for Innovator to further excel in our Quality Management Systems (QMS).

Responsibilities

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Lead all aspects of quality management activities including training, maintaining the QMS System, and holding others accountable to follow quality procedures, processes and practises adopted by the company
  • Manage the flow of quality related documents internally and externally
  • Conduct annual reviews of the QMS and report to Leadership
  • Amend QMS manual in line with changing business processes and legislative requirements
  • Maintain QMS jurisdictional compliances (ABSA/TSSA) and QMS manual renewals including registration of internal procedural alterations
  • Complete and oversee internal and external audit processes
  • Extensive knowledge of ABSA with preferred knowledge in QAQC procedures and processes for similar agencies in Ontario and New Brunswick (nuclear experience an asset)
  • Oversight of all approved 3rd party vendors to meet or exceed our company standards
  • Develop project quality plans and ITP templates
  • Prepare all QMS documentation for sign-off
  • Ensure QMS compliance for all project specific documentation through project reviews and audits
  • Establish and maintain appropriate document control procedure and repository in our existing Sales Force operating system, in conjunction with operations and sales
  • Quality related client interface
  • Some travel required
Qualifications

Requirements:

CWB Level II

Minimum five (5) years of proven experience in Quality Control within an industrial setting

Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) Quality Management Certificate or Equivalent

Functional knowledge of ISO practises and/or ISO Certified are a benefit
